Friends don't let friends' cats drive.

I got this note from the township:

From Friday, May 17th through Sunday, May 19th, 2013, Lower Merion Township Police will conduct Impaired Driving Checkpoints combined with Roving Patrols in the Township. This initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."

A sobriety checkpoint is a highly visible, systematic method for stopping vehicles at a selected location to determine whether motorists are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

The sobriety checkpoint is being funded by a PennDOT grant and is one of many tools utilized to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.

If you're going to be drinking, please have a buddy who is sober or just ask the bartender to call you a cab. You could save someone else's life, or even your own.
