Local YMCAs invite those without power to use their showers

Nova Bank, headquartered in Berwyn, with a branch next to the Wynnewood Shopping Center, was closed Friday by the FDIC.  It had $432 million in deposit liabilities.  The FDIC was unable to find a buyer.   Net cost to the insurance fund estimated to be $91 million.  

Meanwhile, Federal Realty wants to attract yet another bank to the Shopping Center.  

Why did a  small bank based on the Main Line fail at a time when the economy is supposedly recovering?

Why? Because of one of the RFPs submitted to Radnor Township regarding the future of the estate called the Willows. Because Cas Holloway wants to develop the Willows. And he envisions all sorts of things like a "Willows Snack Shack" and can I gag now?

Let's see...last year around this time, Lower Merion Democrats were in a feeding frenzy to ensure no Republicans made it to office in the local commissioner races (including phone calls that took vile to a new level). This year, because it is a major national election, it is all ramping up again.
