Project Bug Ed on Eminent Domain is UNDERWAY! Join us and others all over the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in making Ed Rendell aware that citizens want, no demand, eminent domain reform!
The pre-campaign solicitations are already starting from Rendell's campaign offices, so we think it is time for a CITIZEN CAMPAIGN! If he wants in then we want in too! This is an open ended upcoming event, because we don't know how long this will take...
Write, fax, and phone Rendell or any of his regional offices and tell him a veto on State Senate Bill #881 is UNACCEPTABLE! Tell him we have no time for partisan politics! Tell him the citizens of Ardmore, PA and elsewhere deserve eminent domain protection. Remind the governor that he was here in August and knows durn well that Ardmore is not blighted! Demand that our beloved merchants get a holiday miricle: NO EMINENT DOMAIN! NO MORE BOGUS BLIGHT! (We suggest you contact all regional offices AND his specific office)

Inquiring minds want to know: were we HOT HOT HOT in '05 or what?!! Now we KNOW we accomplished amazing AND historic things, and we did it under our own steam. We worked in conjunction with the Istitute for Justice and other eminent domain groups from all around the country all year. And look what we did, as citizens and small business owners!
We are part and parcel of one of the most important national movements to date. We have probably spent as much time on this as candidates spend on some of their campaigns......
We think our founding fathers would be proud of our fight to preserve the inalienable rights many of them died for us to have!

The regularly scheduled Monthly Board of Commissioners Meeting is Wednesday, December 21st, 2005 at 8:00 P.M. [end time merely and approximation - if you wish to speak during public privilege to the floor, get there a bit early to sign up]
Where?
Township Administration Building
75 East Lancaster Avenue
Ardmore, PA 19003-2376
No one has taken eminent domain off the table in spite of state and federal legislation that has been voted in, all the other pending legislation, and national sentiment. In state after state, local governments all over are dumping ill advised eminent domain projects...but here? Officially? Nothing concrete has been recounted to us.
