Sooooo.....who has seen it???? It's better than botox (well most things are as botox is botulism toxin and freezes your face), and will nip at the heels of Main Line Today Magazine...yep, there's a new magazine kid on the block and it is called MAINLINE.

It's glossy, it's pretty, it's like....Philadelphia Magazine for suburbia....oh, and the Masthead sports a familiar Main Line Name....Manko....as in Marni Pritchard Manko, daughter in law of Joe.

We noticed another familiar name, Rebecca Kenton Quinn, who most remember as shutterfly Rebecca from Philadelphia Magazine...hmmmm....how many photos will we see the lovely Rebecca in? Not being snarky, but she would turn to subject within her own society pages...Art after Dark.... "Fur Ball" with Ed Rendell....Rodin Party....Highlander "Yacht" Cruise, etc....just go to Philly Mag's party pictures and enter her name in the "search" field....

And another interesting fact found in the spankin new MAINLINE? Us, the small group of mean spirited individuals or whatever they called us way back when before we were considered universally respectable, seem to be mentioned or something on page 114 in the midst of other amusement of "IN" and "OUT" with the "IN-CROWD":

IN: Buying Suburban Square
$200 million and worth every penny...[SAC Note: "Gee, you think?"]
OUT Buying a Suburban

IN: Stop Signs
Main Liners are finally getting basic traffic safety measures
[SAC Note: Ummm, what planet did you write this from?? Stop signs aren't in on the Main Line unless they are the new fashion accessory "must have"]

IN: Condos with more
[SAC Note: Gag us with a zoning varience and we won't say more]

And saving the best for last...our mention...we can't believe it was allowed....
IN: Debating Eminent Domain-Lower Merion citizens continue to monitor the planned development projects in their neighborhoods

[SAC Note: Glad you were paying attention]

Whatever. There is some serious moola behind this magazine as the ENTIRE premiere issue is online. Click here for some more etcetera about the team behind MAINLINE...check it out though...it's kinda fun...

It's a MainLine kickoff for MainLine Magazine tonight at Susanna Foo's:

Mag gets a signature drink

Susanna Foo's Gourmet Kitchen (555 E. Lancaster) has created a special drink for Mainline magazine's launch party, which will be held there tonight.

The Mainliner, a Ketel One Pomegranate martini with jasmine tea and garnished with a star fruit, will be offered on the restaurant's permanent drink menu starting tomorrow.

...and they get their own drink, no less....hmmm...maybe we need a signature drink? Call it the SACatini??? LOL...but where's the love? The new mags colors are a little close to some other familiar media colors...oh, and we did invite MAINLINE Magazine to First Friday but didn't hear they attended any venues..not quite sporting of them, but we'll give them time to get established before we rag about it....all in all, considering Marni Manko's familiar last name we're surprised the launch party isn't being held in Lower Merion...Cheers
