From Patch: http://ardmore.patch.com/articles/wynnewood-s-buca-di-beppo-now-closed The space used to be a movie theater. Then it turned into a Vinnie Testa's. Then that became Vinnie T's of Boston. Which closed suddenly without notice, even to its employees. Now it appears that Bucca di Beppo has performed the same maneuvre. It seemed to be doing fine, the parking lot was always crowded up there. Federal Realty wants to put a restaurant at the other Wynnewood shopping center, next to the Wynnewood Post office. They aren't saying who their projected tenant will be. I wonder if Bucca di Beppo will reemerge? |

Here's what Will Be Replacing Bucca di Beppo.

That is a HUGE space to fill. Shall we start the pool now on how long what is coming will last? http://www.philly.com/philly/food/Another-Center-City-restaurant-headed-to-Main-Line.html
And FWIW, Buca di Beppo was worse than Vinnie T's so I am not surprised
I think this will fly. Pietro's, at least the one on Walnut Street, is very good, and has been consistently good for many years.
If this happens, that smallish shopping center will have four active restaurants (Panera, Qudoba plus the two new ones). It's been my observation the parking lot, while it seems to be full, always has spots available even at the busiest times.
