This is a message to the owners of Ardmore West Strip Shopping Center, to voice some complaints.
Complaints: The trash bins on the sidewalks in front of the donut shop and the Rite Aid are *always* full and overflowing on the sidewalk. I mean always, daytime, evenings, weekdays, weekends. And there's always an accumulation of cigarette butts in front of the donut shop (coffee, donuts and cigarettes) and the rite-aid store front. And there's typically/usually one or more cars parked where they shouldn't be, in the narrow alley-way strip between the donot shop and Primo's hoagir shop. I've been meaning to take some pictures on the last few passes through, but I keep forgetting.
Editorial comments: It's not PhD-level rocket science to make this work. You either provide more trash bins for the volume of trash, or you empty the exisitng ones more frequently. And you solve the parking by immediately shooing the scoffalaws away. I want to point out the other, similar strip shopping centers in Lower Merion township do not have this problem. And I also want to note the trash bins, on the public sidewalk in front of the McDonalds (i.e., Lower Merion trahs bins) some times over flow, but no where near as much or an frequently as yours. That means Lower Merion township is doing a better job of keeping up that you a as a private enterprise are. In addition to being a quailty of life thing, it makes your strip shopping look trashy and cheap. Please get right on this and correct it. |

If you happen to go by, and happen to have your camera how's about taking a few pics.
Well I now live almost an hour away from the magic kingdom, so I do not know when that will be, or I would

I walk by there a fair bit. I'll see if I can take some pictures, too.
I took a walk thru there after dozing off during tonight's SOTU address. I feel compelled to report there was not one overflowing trash bin this evening. And no cars parked blocking the alleyway. That was surprising. I'll wait to see if this was an anomaly, or it's the new norm, maybe the mgmt reads this web site.
