First Friday Main Line and Bryn Mawr Twilight Concert rocked the "Line" on Friday June 1st!

And by 10 p.m. everyone was either very jazzy or had definite dancin' feet!

And one other thing on the SAC hit parade today? A favorite thing - PECO.

Apparently PECO is doing the soft shoe avoidance tap dance on power outages in Ardmore. Here's an excerpt of some e-mails the website has been forwarded:

(this was e-mailed to PECO)....your explanation appears to address our situation, but this problem also occurred previously, and indeed, happened again tonight for our First Friday.

The costs to our businesses are staggering. Food losses in the several thousands for Positano, Cafe San Pietro, Supper Supers, Felicia's Pizza, damage and costs to King's Collar, Merion Art and Repro, Past Present Future, and I'd hunch all their neighbors....this problem MUST be addressed...permanently. This transformer problem, according to a merchant who has been here for 20 years, states that this is an on-going problem.

We all know the phone number you've provided, and those who have called are still waiting for repair men who never showed up. One came for me, and tested the voltage. I had a brand new energy efficient 12,000 btu unit installed last week for $900 that's useless. My 220 plug needs at least 206 to operate......

I went to the Ardmore Post Office on Friday, and it was closed due to no electric. Ardmore deserves your immediate attention.

Now you know how we love taking PECO to task. We're going to do it again if they don't address this situation ASAP. HEAR THAT PECO? SAC IS PREPARED TO LAUNCH ANOTHER REVERSE PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN
