Body:
Heard from a little bird supposedly this is a public meeting, but it isn't on the township website - would suggest that interested parties call the township with questions - not responsible for lack of or mis-information.

If this meeting is true and it is a public meeting, why isn't it on the calender?

Why the hell is it being held during business hours?

How are us working folk supposed to attend?

It isn't really a public meeting. This is intended as a question and answer session for developers who will be submitting proposals. Anyone proposing on this project is required to attend. As an example, a similar meeting would be a "pre-bid meeting" which is held before any of the construction projects that the Township awards. Its a chance to get clarification and provide feedback to the Township with regard to the RFP.

hmmmm...we thought the public was able to at least go and listen since it was advertised in the "Civic Express" which goes out to all residents? Does anyone know anyone who went and what the meeting was like? or who was there?

The Developer's picture

You are incorrect in your statement - the meeting was open to the public, just not open to public comment, only developer comment. The meeting was not widely advertised, save the Civic Express Newsletter. The meeting was amazingly short, many interesting developer faces, as well as consultant types.

Hence my statement, "not really a public meeting".

Actually, it was a public meeting. Just because the public couldn't speak doesn't make it non-public or "not really a public meeting"...

Is what we heard true - which is that developers including Ed Lipkin, O'Neill, Dranoff, Mahoney,Arcadia,SRI,and maybe someone called Brandolini out of Berwyn (Paoli Shopping Center?), LCOR, Waetzman,Realen,Goldenberg Group(Haverford State Hospital?),Toll Brothers were present?

We also heard that the RFP deadline date was extended into September sometime, like 9/19/07?

Okay, thanks for clarifying that.
