Just say NO to VERIZON FIOS...

(Hey, Verizon can you hear us NOW?) Last week we told everyone about issues with Verizon in the post "Verizon ---Can You Hear Us Now, or Do You Still Have Fios Between The Ears?"....We're here to tell you that Verizon can't hear, ain't listening....can you put THIS post on the front page of your website so maybe we can see if they can read, ok? Verizon only cares about their profits. They don't care about their customers! See we think they are so busy spin doctoring and their trucks are so busy blowing red lights in the rain (happened this morning at warp speed at intersection of Pennswood Road and Montgomery Avenue), and lurking in front of houses about to be demolished in our neighborhood that they can't pull their thumbs outta their rear ends to move that Fios box up a few feet! No....it took them less than 2 hours to install the sight blocking bugger of a beige refrigerator, yet they have to have engineers "study" the box while they contemplate all their navels and then it will take a few weeks to move the darn box that no one asked for on the pole in the first place! Verizon only cares about their profits. They don't care about their customers! School starts soon, and because of the "temporary" home of the private school across Lancaster Avenue, all those people will be taking new routes to the "temporary" campus. Who is going to pay when someone gets in an accident because people can't see to get out of their driveways safely and drivers coming from one direction can't see the people exiting the driveway either...because the Verizon Fios box is in the way! Our neighbor got her Fios refrigerator moved. It took about a dozen e-mails, testifying at the utility summit, serious help from Lower Merion Township and State Senator Connie Williams, a PUC complaint (which the PUC has still not acknowledged), and one brilliantly obnoxious letter to the editor in Main Line Times (with photo), and it was moved. What took a couple hours to put up took 3 days of Verizon union guys to move up the pole. The union guys said it never should have been on that particular pole in the first place and that our streets are "crazy dangerous" with traffic.
