Hi, Folks,
Yeah, it's been a while, but it is still the same old---business here in Camden.
We were able to get our illustrious leaders and honorable judges to finally kill the Cherokee Plan of Cramer Hill, although Cherokee LLC/NC is still at the table. We also managed to push our Chief Operating Officer Davis to "not call properties blighted" for profit. AND, we must be at the drawing table for future plans.
Marlton section ganged up business forces and won. Waterfront South section sited city-blessed polluters and the right to already affordable home--OURS. Bergen section is still being brain-washed into surrendering their properties for Tweeter Center parking, but they are fighters.
Well, now the City is attacking the humble section of Lanning Square for Cooper Hospital to profit by bulldozing ten blocks for their "school" and office buildings. Its school is not a public school but a private profitting institution. This means that many elderly homeowners and old-stable businesses must give up their blessings to bless research and bribed officials.
Til next time, I hope to have more good news.
