JAnuary 4th, 7:30 PM, T.T. Taylor No kin to “James” but one listen to this artist is reminiscent to the great acoustic artists of the past and present. Singer-songwriter Tom Taylor has proven to be a tenacious self-starter exhibiting highly melodic compositions and emotionally intelligent lyrics. His songs stir the human emotion and soul. Taylor began playing guitar at age 13 when he heard a friend playing an AC/DC song on the guitar. “I thought it was the coolest thing and that was all she wrote” stated Taylor. Since that time he continues to embrace the arts with his love for music and songwriting. Inspired by artists such as Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews, Cat Stevens, and The Beatles Tom is a self taught accomplished songwriter and musician whose writing inspiration comes from past experiences both positive and negative. Hailing from Wilmington, Delaware, Tom has recently completed his debut album recorded and produced by Grammy® nominated engineer/producer David Ivory (Patti Labelle, Erykah Badu, Silvertide) The album features contributions by Earl "Chinna" Smith (Bob Marley & The Whaler's original guitarist), Wilmington’s Gallucio, and The Philadelphia Orchestra among other accomplished artists. It’s earmarked for release sometime in early summer 2007.

January 4th, 7:00-7:45 and 8:15-9:00 pm, Tom Johanning Pop / Rock / Acoustic.
Interests: People, meeting people, talking, especially about music. Finding new music and songs that reach the psyche, which can easily be put on continuous playback in the conscience (songs that don't get old and that are catchy). Rehearsing, practicing, performing, recording, reaching people, traveling, creating, pondering, doing, songwriting, singing, guitar playing, to name a few are passions of mine. Living in Europe for over two years has taught me to appreciate the little things in life and to push forward to help other people reach their dreams because without dreams life isn..t worth living. We all want to reach something.

Influences are everywhere, but one should be aware of how an influences effect you or, at least, attempt to be. One should always search for something to move them into becoming a better person, so they can become who they want to be. It can be difficult at times. With lack of energy or with, simply, not knowing who to become. Remember the best person to be is yourself.

Her tunes include influences from pop, jazz, and classical sources, and are topped off with a classically trained, soulful voice. Her performance will also include a few cover songs as a tribute to artists she admires, including Jeff Buckley, Over the Rhine, Patty Griffin, and Bob Dylan.

January 4th, 6:00-10:00 pm, A native of Puerto Rico, Elfie Harris was raised in Philadelphia, with summers spent at her family home on Martha's Vineyard. She likes rocks and the sun and the wind, shadows and reflections and ambiguity and she loves the ability of photographs to approximate the way she sees a moment in time, their ability to replicate a fleeting second of beauty or stillness or light or wind or joy. She rarely sets out to take a particular photo and tries do minimal work on the photos after they are taken though doesn’t always succeed. She does shoot everything in color and then sometimes translates that to black and white.
