She likes rocks and the sun and the wind, shadows and reflections and ambiguity and she loves the ability of photographs to approximate the way she sees a moment in time, their ability to replicate a fleeting second of beauty or stillness or light or wind or joy. She rarely sets out to take a particular photo and tries do minimal work on the photos after they are taken though doesn’t always succeed. She does shoot everything in color and then sometimes translates that to black and white.
