Re: Bryn Mawr Village Zoning District Presentation
Date: January 14, 2008
Dear Bryn Mawr Property Owner:
The next phase in implementation of the Bryn Mawr Master Plan includes the creating a new Village Zoning District in the Bryn Mawr Business District area. Lower Merion Township has scheduled a public meeting for January 23, 2008 at approximately 8:00 PM in the Board Room on the second floor of the Township Building to present the outline for the proposed Bryn Mawr Village Zoning District. We encourage residents and business/property owners to attend this public meeting to learn about plans for the Bryn Mawr Village Zoning District. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for public comments and questions.
The proposed zoning outline will be available on the Township’s web site at www.lowermerion.org by January 18th. If you don’t have access to the web site you may review a copy of the proposed outline at the Building & Planning Department on the first floor of the Township Building anytime after January 18th. If you have any questions prior to the January 23rd public meeting, you may contact me at 610-645-6200 or the Chair of the Ad Hoc Bryn Mawr Committee, Commissioner Scott Zelov at .
Future mailings providing notice for meetings on the proposed Bryn Mawr Village Zoning District may not include property owners beyond the properties scheduled for rezoning. If you would like to be included on the mailing and/or email list for future notices, please send an email to or call the Building & Planning Department at 610-645-6200 and ask to be added to the Bryn Mawr Zoning mailing list. Our preference is to use email to keep mailing expenses to taxpayers as low as possible.
We look forward to seeing you on January 23rd.
Sincerely,
Robert E. Duncan, Director
Building & Planning Department
Cc: Douglas S. Cleland, Township Manager
Lower Merion Board of Commissioners
