The Race for The 17th Senate District....Drama in The Making?

Run run run.... Will there be Republican Party drama? Who will end up being the "endorsed" candidate? Will it be Lance, or will it be one of the other two? Is Daylin the only Democrat running? Will Ross Perot make an appearance and be an election spoiler?

Hmmm...let's see.....

Political heavyweight from Conshy, the old sheriff in town: John Durante. True blue Montco Republican, old school.

So old school, he doesn't have a blog, but he sent out a letter as per PA WaterCooler.com

But Conshy? Even Conshy locals will tell you the type of politician brewed there is errr, different?

Next? Hailing from Radnor, Commissioner Lisa Paolino. She is venturing out into cyber space for cyber support and has started a ...BLOG .... here's the blog?

Then....Lower Merion Township Commissioner Lance Rogers, Indie turned Republican in the middle is the endorsed Republican choice? Or presumed endorsed choice?

So where will these kids set up their offices? Will they set up office in their own home townships or elsewhere? How much do these races cost? Is it true they can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars? Who pays for theses races?

Is there anyone else running for the seat? How are ALL of the candidates on our inalienable rights? Where do they stand on things like freedom of speech and eminent domain? We know where Lance Rogers and Daylin Leach stand, but what of the others who would be State Senator? Where are the new kids on the block with regard to open government, and other things "sunshine"? Again, we know where Daylin and Lance stand, right?

How can all these folks keep up with current responsibilities and run for higher office?

Well kids, election 2008 is sure going to be interesting. Please feel free to share your thoughts...we're also interested in where people's heads are with regard to the U.S. Presidential Election where the buzz word of choice is "change", only no one is really defining "change"...just saying the word....will Ross Perot surface there or will it be Michael Bloomberg?

Well, time to get out of the political petrie dish. If you are looking for other sites to check out and aren't into the "Mommy Diaries", check out Save Garrett Hill, now on the web...they also have a blog...

Overall, after consulting our Magic 8 Ball, we predict that 2008 is going to be an UGLY election year....
