Alycia Lane is suing her former T.V. station? Why of course she is....

Alycia Lane just can't stay out of the news can she? The papers are full of her story as it continues: aparently she is suing KYW CBS-3? Why because it's their fault she's nuts? Don't these news personalities have clauses in their contracts that they are aware of that gives TV stations the right to get rid of problematic personalities? And then her boyfriend Booker is saying she was offered a job as WWE Smackdown Anchor? Sweet. So Booker is standing by his gal pal? Why not, he needs media coverage too....face it the Philadelphia radio market was probably a step down from where he was....could this for him be a case of any publicity is good publicity?

Honestly....Why can't Alycia Lane just go away?

Here's the latest:

AP: Fired TV Anchor Plans to Sue Station

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A television news anchor fired after her arrest in a skirmish with New York police plans to sue the station, her lawyer indicated Wednesday.

Alycia Lane, 35, will sue KYW-TV over her Jan. 7 dismissal, lawyer Paul Rosen said in papers filed in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. The job reportedly paid $700,000 a year.

Her arrest last month capped a string of public embarrassments involving Lane, who shed tears on-air with "Dr. Phil" McGraw over her divorce and sent photos of herself in a bikini to a married male friend, NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen. Eisen's wife intercepted the photos and reported Lane's faux pas to tabloid gossip columnists.

Lane faces an April 3 hearing in the suspected assault of a female undercover officer, a charge she denies.

NY Daily News: WWE SmackDown anchor's next stop?

PHILADELPHIA - The TV news anchor fired after her skirmish with New York City cops has been offered a job with World Wrestling Entertainment, a Web site reported Wednesday.

Stunning brunette Alycia Lane, 35, has been offered an on-camera job for WWE, her disk jockey boyfriend, Chris Booker, said on his radio show, according to Philly.com.

But WWE did not confirm that, the Web site noted.

Alycia Lane's civil attorney went to court yesterday, saying he is looking "for the facts and circumstances" surrounding her firing from KYW-TV (CBS3), her former television station.

Paul R. Rosen would not say yesterday whether the move was a precursor to a lawsuit. "Upon completion of this investigation, Alycia will then determine what course of action is in her best interest," Rosen said.

....Rosen asked Common Pleas Court to issue a writ of summons. He wants to take depositions from CBS3 president Michael Colleran and news director Susan Schiller in connection with Lane's firing on New Year's Day, about two weeks after she was arrested in New York and accused of hitting a police officer.

Lane, who received no severance in her dismissal, on Jan. 2 hired Rosen, of the Center City firm Spector, Gadon & Rosen.
