Before we promote an announcement from Sharon Eckstein, SAC President. We are going to remind you that we brought everyone some updated photos recently taken by other members in a seperate post. Since those photos were taken, we have noticed MORE graffiti in Ardmore. And it is in a really prominent location: the side of the Primaver Pizza Kitchen at 7 East Lancaster Ave in Ardmore.

The building, a landmark Ardmore building is owned by PRIMAVERA ARDMORE LLC, which means the restaurant owners have control over what happens. Well, we'll tell you true: the grafitti is on the side of the building where the fire escape is. The graffiti criminals must have climbed up the exterior fire escape to "tag". We hope the building owner will clean this up ASAP?

GRAFFITI FIGHTING EFFORTS
SAC is actively working to combat graffiti in Ardmore. Together with the Ardmore CleanUp Group, SAC is inventorying all graffiti in Ardmore, contacting those building owners who have graffiti and offering our free services to paint over the graffiti (except where it might be dangerous to our members such as high up on buildings). You can help with our
graffiti fighting efforts in a number of ways:
1. send in any graffiti sightings to - please be as specific as possible regarding the location;
2. volunteer to paint over graffiti;
3. call the police if you witness someone painting graffiti.

Graffiti on waste bins and signs and mailboxes and anything not locked down throughout Ardmore. Graffiti is all over South Ardmore, down on Spring and off Spring - close to Simpson and other streets.
