Dear Neighbors,

Ardmore Clean Up recently submitted an application to the Lower Merion Parks Department to officially adopt the St. Paul's Tot Lot at the corner of St. Paul's Rd. and Spring Avenue. Our application was approved and the township will soon be posting a sign at the Tot Lot recognizing our adoption of the park. This means we are now responsible for conducting a minimum of four (4) work days during the year at the Tot Lot, with garbage bags provided by the Parks Department. After one year of participation, volunteers will be recognized with T-shirts by the Township. Ardmore Clean UP's adoption of the Tot Lot will also be recognized on the township's cable access channel.

If you would like to participate in the beautification of the Tot Lot, the township requires you fill out a form in order to officially volunteer on township property. Please email me back if you think you might come to our first Tot Lot Clean UP and I will email you the township volunteer form.

We will conduct our first Tot Lot Clean UP at 10:00am April 12th (right after the Spring Avenue Clean UP). This will consist of picking up litter and leaves, and discussing different ideas regarding what we can contribute to this pocket park. Because the park appears to be in relatively good condition, I would expect our work day to conclude by 11:00am. If it is raining, we will send an email at approximately 8:45am to re-schedule for Sunday April 13th. If you can come to both the Clean Up at 9:00am and the Tot Lot at 10:00am that would be great! If you can't do that, we'd still appreciate seeing you at one of these events.
