11th Annual Historic Preservation Watch List
Nominate a building to our annual list of threatened historic properties
The Lower Merion Conservancy is accepting nominations for the 11th Annual Preservation Watch List. The Watch List is designed to create awareness of some of Lower Merion and Narberth's most threatened historic places to assist in their preservation.
You can help draw attention to a threatened site by submitting a nomination to the Lower Merion Conservancy. Nominations are due by Friday, June 6, 2008. The 11th Preservation Watch List will be announced and published in September, 2008.
Our selection Committee uses the following basic criteria for initial consideration:
· Significance of the property
· Identifiable threat
· Extent to which the property illustrates a larger preservation issue
· Special or unique considerations
Half- to one-page nominations should include the property's address, why you think it is an important site, a brief description of the threat, and anything else you think is relevant. Photos are welcome but not required.
