How many banks indeed? Should this bank get relief? This bank wants to build where Dunkin' Donuts was. the lot is a logistical nightmare. If they can't fit, shouldn't they just go someplace else? After all it's not like there aren't more of this same bank close by in neighboring communities, right?

MEETING NOTICE
TOWNSHIP OF LOWER MERION
ZONING HEARING BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of Lower Merion Township will hold a meeting as required by Lower Merion Code Chapter 155, as amended and codified by Ordinance 1802, at the Township Building, 75 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA, on Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 7:15 p.m., at which time there will be a hearing on the following cases.
Appeal No. 4144
Applicant: Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania
Property: 733 Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
(Election District #4). BMV-3 Bryn Mawr Village District #3
The applicant proposes to demolish an existing commercial building and construct a 3000 sq. ft. bank building with a drive-through teller facility and seeks a variance from §155-98 to allow a storage area for vehicles awaiting service (queue lane) that is less than the required 200 linear feet of driveway.
Also of note? Something in the "hospital zone":
Appeal No. 4145 *** POSTPONED ***
Applicant: Main Line Health Real Estate, LP
Property: 125 S. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
(Election District #10). Bryn Mawr Medical District-3/BMMD-3
A building permit was recently issued for a parking structure conditioned upon the installation of window frames consistent with Land Development Conditions of Approval. The applicant is appealing the interpretation of the Director of Building and Planning, pursuant to §155-110, that window frames in the parking structure must be installed. The applicant is requesting that the Zoning Hearing Board reverse the permit condition imposed by the Director of Building and Planning, and require the re-issuance of the building permit without the condition that window frames in the parking structure are required.
