MLL: Ardmore Unity Day

The Ardmore Avenue Community Center will host its annual Unity Day celebration Saturday, July 19, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Vernon Young Playground, Spring and Ardmore avenues, Ardmore.

Unity Day is a fun-filled family day of live entertainment featuring "The Everyday People's Band" beginning at noon. At 2:30 p.m., a funk band featuring Larry Scovens, Shannon Snow, "Mister," Tannielle Brooks and "Dockta D" will provide the soundtrack for the event.

Members of the community are invited to enjoy a variety of vendors and activities, including field events, pinochle and spades tournaments, and lots of good food.
