PECO Problems Again in Ardmore?
|
Many small businesses between Radio Shack and Pennywise Thrift Shop along Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore have been suffering dreadfully since this past Thursday. From Radio Shack at 9 E Lancaster Ave through to Suburban Office at 49 E Lancaster Ave, the power has been OFF as often as it has been ON. Some businesses have had to close off an on during this. The economy is bad enough without things like this occuring. HuNan in particular was very hard hit and they lost a LOT of food and business due to this. You see, just like last summer when random and persistent outages started around Mother's Day weekend. Like last summer, it begins with legs and transformers under Lancaster Avenue. How will these chronic utility issues be corrected with all this future and corrent development? Are there any requirements for infrastructure upgrades? The more you build the more problems which will occur unless the utilities are upgraded, right? How can we get to building until these pre-existing issues are dealt with? How many more times do transformers have to go kerpluey, etc before action is taken? Here are other posts which have discussed similar issues in the past: PECO ENERGY!
