So, you know we're big on fighting graffiti because it adds a decrepit air of blight to our communities, right?

Well look at this photo we found noodling around on flickr looking for cool Ardmore photos from a person called "Marty In Ardmore"

We're pretty sure this is the same mailbox that one of our members photographed before somewhere around Cricket and Spring?

So anyway, it's amazing, but these taggers seem to enjoy their handiwork being posted:

Da Dirty Delph Graffiti

Yep, even found Ardmore in these sets...

(Above photo is dumpster behind where parking for Merion Art and Repro, Past Present Future and Junior League is - it was taken by lucindalunacy)

And here's the photo that blew our minds called "dever":

(Above photo just shows a tagger at work)

Anyway....it would be nice to channel the taggers' efforts into something more positive, wouldn't it?

I wonder if Lower Merion Township would fine the federal government for having grafitti on its own mailbox if it were in Lower Merion? Would only be fair.

I will say some of these grafitti types have a lot of creative energy that would probably make them successful if they channeled their energy to more positive things.
