Penn Wynne Elementary School Large Group Meeting Room--2nd floor

US agricultural practices have a profound impact on both our personal health and on our environment. Typical crop and animal production can be linked to oil dependence, toxicity, antibiotic overuse, and water pollution, higher calorie intake, and lower nutrition.

The evening’s agenda includes:

• Modern agribusiness techniques and its effect on the food
that we buy
• Action plans that we can take to support sustainable
agriculture with input from the PA Association for Sustainable
Agriculture and White Dog Enterprise’s Food Fair Project
• A Q&A with local farmers, farmers markets and relevant
environmental organizations
