Dirty Fellini?

Ok, so it is no joke that when you go past Fellini Cafe the windows look grimy and slimy. If you park in that little parking lot near where the rear of their property is, well, it is dirty.

Hmmmm...anyone eaten there recently? I do not as what they serve is nothing to do with authentic and all about slop. I will note that it sure seems to be the BYOB choice of underage drinkers and remember that Mexican BYOB downtown that got busted for that? Too bad another restaurant can't occupy this valuable space in Ardmore. Sheesh, it's bad enough the rumors that they can't or won't pay bills, but now they are proven to be dirty too? GROSS

That is pretty bad though I'm glad to see what people have witnessed and posted on this blog is being supported with evidence from the health inspector. As for the BYOB and underage drinkers do not hesitate to call the PA Bureau of Liquor Control's hotline at 1-800-932-0602 for liquor license violations and their 1-888-UNDER21 hotline to report underage drinking. Its anonymous but be sure to include the name of the establishment, it's address, in which township and county it is located in and be very specific as to the illegal behavior you have observed and the specific times they occured.

This is a very effective tool that can be used against both liquor licensed and non-liquor licensed establishments that flaunt the law to get them in line. This has helped keep in check the establishments on County Line Rd. - nothing like the threat of losing a liquor license to get an establishment in line! Check out http://www.psp.state.pa.us/blce/cwp/view.asp?a=3&Q=177425&pm=1 and follow the links for more information. You might be surprised as to how many licensed establishments ritually violate the liquor code in Ardmore but it goes un-reported. Things such as amplified music that can be heard outside of the walls of the establishment, offerings prizes or cash rewards to attract clientele, staying opening after the 2am required closing, and others.

It would be interesting to see what the BLC can do in the case of a non-licensed establishment allowing underage drinking - I've gotta believe Fellini is accountable in some way for looking the other way.

I'm pretty certain that my friend, the plumber, who worked for Fellini in Paoli and in Ardmore had trouble getting paid for his work. But, being the type of guy he is he marched into one of the locations and demanded they pay him out of the register or "they were going to have a problem". He got paid. Did SAC ever consider this line or reasoning with them? HaHa - just kidding!

They seem to be real sleez...
