BTW: At least 1 or 2 of the lobster love'n sojourners will have more time to explore the rocky coasts of Maine according to informed sources. |

permalinkgreat graphic, Carla, and very informative link. Nice work. I now know more about next door neighbor Radnor than all the news articles in MSM.

permalinkThere is a pink slip for Lisa P, right?
As I've said, I know nothing about Lisa other than what has been posted here recently about her in what reputedly is the longest blog thread in SAC blog history.
I see that she has now explained absences from Radnor Board of Commissioner meetings as due to illness.
If true, surely she explained the situation to several of her co-Commissioners over the past several months and also to a key Radnor Township staff member or two? Maybe all kept the information about her illness quiet in deference to her wishes?
Realistically? The preceding possibility seems impossible given Carla's olympic-level ability to get a pulse on all breaking facts relevant to issues she follows--particularly one that has gone on as long as the Lisa P problem has.
If it's already been determined that Lisa P has an illness that would reasonably make her wish to stay out of the public eye, please provide an update. I missed the information.

We have no additional info on madam. She is, of course, welcome to register and post an update on herself....but she prefers to criticize this blog, doesn't she?

permalinkCommissioner Bill Spingler will probably write all of them letters of recommendation.

permalinkLOL. I spoke up at one Radnor township meeting and blasted the entire township over Bashoregate to a thunderous round of applause from a packed house.
When I sat down, Spingler was staring at me with a furious look of contempt.
Bill, you need to ask the government bozos in Lower Merion whether or not I get intimidated easily or not, because when you do stupid things like try and stare me down you only further motivate me.
Ken Davis tried that back when he was a LM commissioner and even asked that I be removed from the podium because I was a few seconds over my the meager three minutes citizens are allowed (I finished up right when he was speaking because I do obey rules, no matter how stupid they are, and always keep my statements to three minutes).
Since then Davis has resigned as a commissioner and as chair of the Montco GOP. Now, it certainly was not all my doing as Davis only has himself to blame for becoming a laughing stock, but I did not forget that comment from Davis and I will not forget that arrogant stare down from Spingler.
Nothing annoys me more than commissioners trying to intimidate citizens for speaking againsts their stated or unstated goals at township meetings and thus trying to scare them into submission for exercising their rights. LM commissioner Gould recently learned that lesson and I will be more than happy to see Maryam Phillips resign in shame at the end of her term for her attempts at imtimidating speakers (amongst other things).

permalinkWhat's truly amazing is that the stare-down works on some people. Spingler's use of "Glower Power" doesn't have an effect on true advocates, so it doesn't surprise me that it didn't phase you!

Personally the favorite Bill-ism I see when I watch the meetings is when he tries to quick rush everything throuhg...even when there should be opportunity for public comment...he's just old I guess?

More personnel changes in Radnor. We received this post from a very reliable source at www.local-issues.com -
Ex Employee writes - John Rutty the chief of police of Radnor has officially resigned as of today. There must be a whole lot more going on than we know. I also heard that they suspended Tom Blumstrum and Dan Malloy for a week without pay for going to Maine.
