I stumbled upon this decorated car in my travels today and I actually came back later to take a photo. It is one of those cute slice of life things that remind us all there is sweetness in life. Asking a guy to prom is never easy, and whomever this young lady is, I hope "Nick" says yes and they have a wonderful time at whatever prom. I just think this is the cutest thing --- a bright spot in a dreary day. |

Carla, referring to LexoTime's comment that follows, perhaps you were jumping to conclusions in assuming that it is a "young lady" asking Nick to the prom....
It's a girl - a guy wouldn't fill up another guy's car with posters asking for the prom date, a teddy bear, etc. Pete Bannan found the car too and here is his cute little video with the kids and the car that got prom bombed:
Baldwin junior, Denise Cirelli, wanted an original way to invite Nick Rhodes of The Haverford School to this year's prom.
Cirelli wanted to invite the youngster during English class but couldn't get there in time, so she went with her second option, which was filling his car with balloons and streamers to pop the question.
Did Rhodes accept Cirelli invitation? Watch the video to find out.

Pardon my being out of touch, but do proms not allow single-sex couples these days?
