Jim Gerlach narrowly escaped the grasp of former wrestler and governor and current conspiracy theorist Jesse "the mind" Ventura. Ventura is "hot" on the trail of a federal effort to create FEMA or fusion camps. Gerlach is cosponsor of a bill to create emergency centers on federal bases. Conspiracy theorists believe this legislation is really to create the dreaded fusion camps. I do not believe there are fusion camps nor do I believe Gerlach's sponsorship of the bill is anything but benign. I do admit a certain sense of satisfaction that the news bottom feeders and conspiracy theorists Republicans have set upon others are now visiting their own. |

I'm hitting the "Godwin's Law" button but nothing is happening!
ROFL.
What has happened to Popular Mechanics? I haven't read it in years.
I am stunned to see them involved in anything political let alone debunking nonsense like this.
That's pretty funny. Is anyone looking into how a North Korean forced labor camp ended up in Wyoming? And how many people have the North Koreans captured off that list of people who signed up outisde the supermarket?
Oh come on, that’s a concentration camp in central Texas in the YouTube!
Most certainly not an ICE detention facility close enough to the Mexican border for illegal immigrants (hence the kids playing).
What gets me is why the employees of the ICE facility did not just say what it is as opposed to calling it a “residential facility”. Has political correctness gone that far that detained illegal immigrants are called “residents”?

So you do have some conspiracy theories of your own- that Republicans have set 'news bottom feeders' and conspiracy theorists upon others- just not anything as extreme as building FEMA camps.
That's interesting since the first time I read of FEMA concentration camps was during the first Bush Administration. Back then, it was all over the Yahoo! message boards that John Ashcroft had built these camps out in the Mojave Desert.
So if this is a conspiracy by Republicans of putting conspiracy theorists out there, why would they accuse their own people of doing the evil deeds? Seems logical that Republicans did not conjure up the concentration
camps.
Sounds to me like you ought to ease up on the blue Kool-Aid pardner. Alternatively, consume equal parts blue and red Kool-Aid. Then you may see that both sides are just corporate tools.
This is totally frontpage worthy.
That said, if Jesse Ventura's show is the absolute best he could do, despite serving as a state governor, that doesn't say much about his overall skills and employability.

Pretty bizarre stuff. This show sure does make things look sinister. Who knows what is going on - and that‘s part of the problem in this country. Half the time government does not know what it is doing.
It would not surprise me in the least if the government is secretly setting up detention camps for civil unrest in case of a complete economic meltdown. Not saying that is what this is. Just that it would not surprise me if our government thought building detention camps for mass arrests in case of civil unrest was a good idea.
The one thing I can say that is not a conspiracy from this show is that members of congress do not even read the bills they co-sponsor.
