I hope Mark didn't hurt himself with all that patting of himself on the back...oh and he slammed those of us who speak out and groups like LMVUE (Doe case), evil spying laptops...he mentioned First Friday which would be nice except who has ever seen him there? He certainly did nt attend Foodapalooza although several other LM commissioners attended and commissioners from Haverford and Radnor Townships |

I have never heard anything more hypocritical in my life.
Taylor has specifically personally attacked and denounced me at township meetings in an extremely uncivil manner - which is what this hypocrite just admonished.
I sense a lot of resentment in this "speech" by a person who no doubt in my mind has anger management issues and is furious he has been forced out as a commissioner.
Good riddance you corrupt bozo.

I hadn't heard the forced out angle. What's the story?
I'll get into that later (might be a month or two) when I post some other stuff that will be related, but you think Reed and Taylor just decided to leave all at once to spend more time with tier families?
These two are egomaniacs who were enthralled with the power and un-democratic and secret control they had.
Why step down from what gave them so much demented satisfaction unless they were pressured?
And what are the odds of both of them doing it at the same time and leaving Liz Rogan in charge?

Mark Taylor say: First Lower Merion good like me, ugg. Me good, me best. Second Lower Merion you all bad. You no agree me, you bad. Ugg.
Cheryl Allison has just posted a report on the interviews for Taylor's successor:

My favorite memory of Taylor will be a meeting in the fall of 2010 on the Capital Improvement Plan for 2011. He was chairing the meeting. At the beginning he noted that none of the Republican commissioners was in attendance and said something along the lines that it was a pity they weren't bothering to show up for this important meeting. Lou Gould arrived two minutes later and Jenny Brown shortly thereafter. Scott Zelov arrived a little later. The meeting was so "important" that Taylor dozed through most of it, which was a presentation by Don Cannon about routine capital projects for the coming year.
Otherwise, my main impressions of his tenure was of his making completely off-the-wall comments about Cheryl Allison's reporting, gratuitously attacking people who couldn't respond, exhibiting hyper-partisanship on the Reed model, and usually being kind of muddled about what was going on. The big signature accomplishment of his entire tenure was coming up with a meaningless little accounting gimmick that reduced the tax increase for 2010 by half a percentage point: certain equipment that had always been paid for out of operating funds was to be paid for by dipping into the Equipment Fund to the tune of half a million dollars. Of course all this did was to push a half-million dollar tax increase into some future year.
