PA Governor To Sign Landmark Anti Eminent Domain Abuse Law

Greetings again from SAC! We feel silly sending out two newsletters in one evening, but we wanted to pass along some good news regarding a recent development: Governor Rendell is scheduled to sign the state eminent domain bill tomorrow in Philadelphia, PA. SAC's E-Ni and Betty Foo have been invited to this press event and will witness the signing of this bill into PA law. Our efforts to effectuate change in our state's legislation have been successful. SAC's Sharon Eckstein, Scott Mahan, E-Ni Foo and Betty Foo testified in front of the PA House and the PA Senate in the summer of 2005. Comment: We are thrilled that the eminent domain legislation is being signed in Philly today, and would have hoped that SAC President and targeted businessman Scott Mahan would have been included in the party...we heard room was limited.....bummer, it's a momentous occasion....we're glad at least the Foos can participate!
