I spotted this earlier in the day: It was pasted over the former "Ardmore Coffee and News" sign on the South side of Ardmore Train station. I'm pretty sure the picture of the cop is that of the statue in front of Ardmore Toyota just up Lancaster Ave. Not sure where the sheep are from. So is it vandalism, or art? And if it's art, what is the artist trying to convey? Discuss! |

this is sickening.
This kind of thing is mutton but trouble.
Cops are saying "Move along ewe".
Hmm... Art vandal, ey?
(yeah, pretty baa'd.)
I'm not clear what the artist, or graffiti vandal is trying to get across?
- Lower Merion police are watching over a conveyor belt line of sheep, and the citizens and visitors to Lower Merion are the sheep?
- The old-fashioned image of a friendly policeman directing traffic, and the drivers are sheep? Although, the LM police do provide pedestrian crossing assistance at several churches along Montgomery Ave.
- Mocking the life-size statue placed in front of Ardmore Toyota, and the sheep are people buying the Toyotas?
That's all I can think of..

Lordy that is amusing. It looks like they are guarding sheeple? When did that appear?
