If you grew up in the 80s, I'm sure you remember Spy Hunter, the arcade game where you drove around in a tricked out car and had to shoot other cars and run them off the road. One of the weapons in the game is the smoke screen. You can spew smoke out your car's tailpipes to obscure what enemies see. It's pretty cool. It's not so cool when it's a SEPTA bus with a smoke screen, which is what I saw while walking up Coulter Ave earlier tonight: Let's hope SEPTA takes that bus off the street. Not only was that some nasty looking (and smelling!) smoke, but there's a visibility/safety hazard as well. |
