Ardmore fire chief Tom Hayden is still in intensive care at the University of Pennsylvania following the Friday evening fire in which he rescued a 102 year-old woman from a kitchen fire in her Villanova home.

The article says he is expected to make a full recovery, being treated for smoke inhalation.

I hope Tom gets better and comes home soon and I sure hope Lower Merion seriously honors this guy. He is also as many know and Ardmore business owner as well as a brave fireman and all around nice guy
