This is what we wish we'd see more towns doing in our township and in neighboring townships. Narberth loves their Main Street Community just like we do in Ardmore and isn't that wonderful?

Narberth moves to save its traditional storefronts

NARBERTH - Narberth officials say a new ordinance could help the borough keep its small town charm - and dissuade business and property owners from turning its quaint "Main Street" into an office park.

The borough council unanimously voted Monday night to create a Narberth Traditional Neighborhood Development category in the zoning code for its downtown commercial area. The change, borough officials believe, will help the town maintain its core downtown business area.
