Man falls 30-feet into transfer station trash pit during LM Township cleanup weekend

A man fell into the trash transfer pit at the Lower Merion Public Works Koegal Complex, 1300 N. Woodbine Ave. Saturday. The man was reported to have fallen 30 feet into the pit where trash is taken from trash trucks to be transferred to larger trucks for removal. The man was not a township employee.
